I have today come across this dramatic image of the aftermath of the landslides triggered by typhoon Parma (Pepeng) in the Philippines (source GMA News.TV):

The effect of the landslides have been terrible. Roads have been cut off and people are hauling much needed supplies by themselves. People normally spend Christmas up in Baguio City where some of the landslides occurred. But I think this is going to be one sad Christmas for everyone where in my country :|
